Pity, yesterday J.J. Cale died. Another one of my generation. Not only I have admired his guitar style, but also his life style was a role model – a special mood transported by his laconic vocals and his living in a caravan tour bus. I always like to simplify his compositions replayed on my guitar, “Drifter’s Wife” for example:
